About Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village:
An unforgettable Sedona experience must include spending time at internationally renowned Tlaquepaque (pronounced Tla-keh-pah-keh), Sedona Arizona's Arts & Crafts Village. Nestled beneath the shade of the sycamores on the banks of beautiful Oak Creek in Sedona, Tlaquepaque is the most distinctive shopping experience to be found in the Southwest. Authentically fashioned after a traditional Mexican village, Tlaquepaque, meaning the "best of everything," has been a Sedona landmark since the 1970's. Its vine covered stucco walls, cobble-stoned walkways and magnificent arched entryways give you the feeling that Tlaquepaque has been here for centuries. Tasteful galleries and unique shops live in harmony with its lush natural environment where giant sycamore trees stand in testimony to the care taken in preserving the timeless beauty of the Tlaquepaque grounds. It would be hard to find more beautiful surroundings anywhere to create a shopping experience like no other.
Home to more than 40 shops and galleries and four restaurants, Tlaquepaque, the Art and Soul of Sedona, is located at 336 Highway 179 at the Oak Creek Bridge just south of 89A on Highway 179. It is open daily at 10 am. For more information call (928) 282-4838, visit: www.tlaq.com, and for your online shopping convenience anytime, www.shoptlaq.com.

21st Annual Red Rock Fantasy

This year marks the return of the Dancing Lights creek side. Watch the lights and dance to holiday tunes. At the end of the route, vote for your favorites to determine this year’s winning displays.
Nestled within the world-renowned red rocks of Sedona, Red Rock Fantasy is a festival of nearly one million lights providing a man-made marvel within the scenic beauty that has drawn visitors for the past one hundred years. Now in its twenty first year and boasting over two dozen displays created by families from the Southwest, the festival promises never before seen marvels of light that leave children in wonderment and move adult minds to enjoy the holidays as they did when they were young.
It is a magic that can bring cartoon favorites to life, challenge children to scavenger hunts within the displays, or illuminate an undersea ad venture. That is the magic that has made Red Rock Fantasy a favorite among residents and visitors alike. Each year, Red Rock Fantasy has dozens of displays to dazzle our guests.
The event will last through the season, ending with a Closing Ceremony on Saturday, December 31. The festival is open each evening (weather permitting) from 5 to 10 p.m., on Fridays and Saturdays and 5 to 9 p.m., Sunday through Thursday.
