Something Brand New in Sedona!

New highway roundabouts, new sidewalks, new bike lanes. This year you will be pleased to find Hwy 179 has been redesigned to enter Sedona on a one way road through the National forest, and to return on a different route, enhancing a beautiful drive with no oncoming traffic. In addition, all the roundabouts are completed, so once you begin your drive on Hwy 179 to enter Sedona, there are no stoplights or stop signs to interrupt your enjoyment of the scenery. The roundabouts offer nonstop cruising into town via this incredible scenic route.

The Kings Ransom Hotel is in the perfect location, right at the entrance to the main commercial gallery district. Along with the new roads and new sidewalks, low light street lamps have been added. So once you pull into the hotel, you can walk to any of the shops and restaurants in this popular area during the day or in the evening, including the charming Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village. What an improvement! In addition, bike lanes are now a reality. There is a handy bike rental store with all sorts of bikes, some you pedal and some motorized, just a few steps from our hotel.
